Unique Amiibo Coins - Over 50 Designs and Growing!

With over 50 designs, there are most of the popular and useful Amiibo coins here, ready to add your NFC215 tag.

These can be used on any device that supports Amiibos, from Wii U, 2DS and 3DS to Switch.

Much easier to carry on the go, and less likely to be lost or damaged than full size Amiibo characters, these are perfect for unlocking those secrets and cheats  in your favorite games!

Each coin has a unique printed name with the Amiibo series for easy identification.

Step 1 - Ingredients:

Amiibo Coin

I STRONGLY recommend printing in PETG!  I do not expect the fit  of the acrylic disc to work in PLA, the model needs some flex for assembly. Other than that all settings are default at 0.2mm layer height.

Artwork

I printed the artwork on a standard color laser printer, and cut them out by hand using the acrylic disc as a template.

Amiibo Tags

These are created to use the 25mm diameter NFC215 tag, which can be programmed as follows: Amiibo Programming

You will also require a 40mm diameter x 1.5mm clear thick acrylic disc, which are available in bulk from eBay. Note that the discs can vary somewhat, the ones I use are actually 39.7mm, therefore it is best to measure yours and scale up or down the print in X and Y only to suit.

For example if your disc measures 40.5mm, the scale factor is 40.5/39.7*100 =  102%

Step 2 - Place NFC tag into recess in 3D Printed Coin

Step 3 - Place printed artwork on top of NFC tag

Step 4 - Press acrylic disk into 3D Printed Coin

Step 5 - Print more!!!!
