You will need: (See in picture)

  • 1x Microswitch
  • 1x Piece of PTFE tube (3~4cm)
  • 1x Double wire
  • 1x 3pin male connector

Optional: You may want to pause the print to put the PTFE tube while it is printing (see inpictures).

  • If you want to print with cap, use the files Ender_3V2-_Runout_Sensor_Base.stl and Ender_3V2-_Runout_Sensor_Cap.stl, if not, use only the file Ender_3V2-_Runout_Sensor.stl.
  • If you use stock firmware, probable you will need to update it (I'm not sure if it really need), I recommend to compile Marlin by yourself or download a pre-configured one, like mriscoc or Jyers. After this, you will be able to active Runout Sensor.
  • To better functionality, cut the PTFE tube like showed in the picture.
  • Wiring: The color doesn't matter, but check if the connector wire and switch wire position are ok.
