BMW E36 Inner Front Door Handle Frame V3

Inner Door handle frame V3 for all BMW E36 models.

Print Left or Right model as you need them.

Recommended material is black ABS or black ASA filament. Do not use PLA for car parts and PETG is often too shiny to match appearance of other plastic parts in a BMW.

For best result print with the following:

• 0.4mm nozzle.
• 5 top and bottom layers.
• 5 walls.
• 100% infill.
• variable or variable/dynamic/adaptive layer height from 0.1mm-0.3mm. Alternatively print with as low constant layer height for nice rounded sides.  If your layer height is lower than 0.2mm, then you may increase the top and bottom layer.
• PEI sheet bed with fine random patterned surface.
• Support is needed for successful printing the 4 hooks.

For best finish you may want to add manually slightly sanding for curved surfaces and then reheat with hotair on sanded surfaces to remove any whiteness of sanded surfaces.

The hooks are vulnerable and breaks off easily when mounting, so be careful. You have to carefully wriggle a little bit and slide the frame into place You may enforce the hooks by adding superglue to the sides of the hooks.

Please consider to like, rate and upload picture of your printed results. Mine looks really nice with some post processing being sanding and heat to remove change white areas caused by sanding back to dark mat areas.
