Remix of Atle's original Decent-inspired puck rake. Decent's new rake has four needles in a square pattern - who knows why. But Huzzah! Shiny New things!
I've also included a parametric Fusion 3d file with two parameters that you can change to accommodate different needle sizes:
I didn't fancy a box of 96 acupuncture needles lying around after making the rake, so I got this little 10 pack of printer nozzle cleaning needles which seem to be the same sort of thing.
The base is 1.4mm x 30mm, so there's a little bit of clearance in the 3D model to account for shrinkage.
With these settings, the needles will need to be trimmed by about 5mm to fit in the original stand (I have included Atle's original stand 3mf file here for convenience).
If you would prefer not to trim the needles, print the alternative “35mm” version of the base - this has holes that are 37mm deep so the needle will sit further in the handle. This will leave a 5mm space between the bottom surface of the puck and the base of the needle which could potentially collect muck, so I'd suggest a blob of superglue in each to seal it all up.
