MicroHex: Mini Hexapod Robot

MicroHex is a small hexapod robot that is designed to be affordable and easy to build using easy to source components.  It is a great project for beginners, however, the Raspberry Pi Pico W that I use as a micro controller supports WiFi and Bluetooth so there are plenty of more advanced software development opportunities as well.

I haven't finished writing the software for it yet. Once it is finished, I plan to publish a link to it here. There is plenty of documentation for how to setup a Pi Pico so you can get started with your own software.

• 18x MG90S micro servos
• 72x M2x8 Self tapping screws
• 5v Buck converter
• 2S lipo battery pack
• XT60 connector
• Perf board
• 40x female pin headers
• 58x male pin headers
• PCA9685 Servo driver
• 2 pole terminal block (optional)
• Power switch (optional)
• Jumper wires (optional)
