This is a small box for trinkets and knicknacks, with three identical parts which slot together to form a hexagon. It can be a little tricksy to open, but sliding in just the right way, or even spinning will do it!

Print three of the segments, and then have a fun time slotting them together - that is a puzzle in itself (hint - do it on a flat surface, not in your hands)… It has catches so that it won't come apart easily when opened, but it can be pulled apart with a little force.

Any material can be used to print it, but I think SIlk PLAs are the prettiest. If you print the three parts the same way with the full side at the bottom and the diamonds pointing upwards (as oriented in the files) you'll get a nice reflection/refraction effect from each part.

Do a little working/sliding with two parts first, to get the smoothest surfaces.

Both STL and STEP files included, for easier remixes.
