- Story: I created this model to showcase a promotional Cthulhu card from the "Monsters" card collection. Since there wasn't enough space in the official album, I affixed this model to the end page using some adhesive tape. Its design mimics that of a telephone, a nod to the Call of Cthulhu role-playing game.
- Instructions: The assembly and construction process is quite straightforward, but I'll provide a summary.
- Printer settings: I printed the model using PLA on my Anycubic i3 Mega, utilizing standard PLA settings. Supports are not required.
- Painting: You can print the model in any color of your preference, as the body and the dial are two separate parts. However, I recommend painting the numbers on the body in black and their background in white. I used simple permanent markers for this.
- Assembly: Once all the parts are prepared, you can glue the dial onto the body, ensuring that the numbers align with the corresponding holes. Next, attach a card sleeve to the rectangular receiver-shaped part (on the side with the indentation), where the card will be placed. Subsequently, the receiver can be inserted into the phone body, and the entire assembly can be affixed to the cover of a collectible card album (as demonstrated in the picture).
