A portable volume mixer that connects over usb-c. I'm using it with deej, but it can be used for any software you want.

You'll need:

  • 5 sliding potentiometers (https://amazon.de/dp/B081JNQ7MM)
  • 1 Arduino Nano usb-c (https://de.aliexpress.com/item/1005006904520576.html)
  • 4 M2 screws (I used M2x6 countersunk, but anything more or less close to it will work)
  • 5 M2x6 to hold the potentiometers in place

Each of the potentiometers need a connection to the 5V pin, the GND pin and an individual connection to one of the A pins of the Arduino. (poti1 → A0, poti2 → A1, poti3…)

Once that is done, place the Arduino in the cutout, push the potentiometers in the slots and screw them down. You can use some glue to hold down the Arduino and the back sites of the pots.

Lastly screw on the top cover and put on the volume knobs.

Done.

Now you can connect it all to your PC and use it with whatever software you like, for example omriharels deej or dotmatrixlabs dot x.
