Garage Door Hinge Bumper

My car trunk is electrically operated and if the garage door is open and you don't manually prevent the trunk from opening all the way it will smack into the garage door.  The hinges are the lowest part of the door so the trunk hits them first.

This bumper is just a flat TPU sheet that you bolt over the hinge with the existing bolts.  It's large enough that you don't need to precise in positioning, just make sure you leave some slack so it can move around as the door opens and closes. 

When printing this I had a filament jam and the last couple of layers didn't finish, I just made that side face the garage door.  I think it turned out better as it was more flexible that way, you might consider printing it so that it ends without a top surface.
