I designed these urns for my wife and I. The large cremation urn has an interior volume of 207 cubic inches. The small urn has an interior volume of 144 cubic inches. When a body is cremated, it will require 1 cubic inch for every pound they weigh. So the large should hold the remains of someone who weighs 207 pounds and the small will hold someone that weighs 144 pounds.
These have ΒΌ" thick walls and have a nice substantial feel when you use a 25% infill and 3 Perimeters. A .20mm quality setting for the vessel was used. For the lid, supports are required for the interior and I used the Variable layer height to get a better quality. These took me a total of 4 days to print for the large size. Worth the time to get a very nice quality print.
I also glued in 10x3mm round rare earth magnets. 3 for the vessel and 3 for the lid. The magnets give a satisfying click when the lid is placed and it feels very secure. Just be sure to get the polarity right when gluing these in.
My 10x3 magnets actually measured 9.99mm x 2.76mm
Use the STEP models for printing.
