I love Gridfinity, and I also love to maximize storage space. I am not generally happy with rectangular bins to store stuff. A cutout shape ensures the right item returns to the right spot in the drawer.
In this case, I was able to angle the mouse cutout and provide additional space for the spare magnetic parts case and the USB charging cable.
Personally, I only use this mouse when gaming on my Mac, which isn't very often. So having a space in the drawer for it made sense.
I use a .15 or .2mm layer at either draft or speed.
