When I got my UV-K5 I was not aware that there is a protective foil applied to the screen, it was scratched so I got rid of it. I did not want to leave the original screen surface exposed to the open, its plastic and not glass and there for would scratch rather easy.
I tried to find a foil or glass to buy but there are non, so I got myself some random cheap non reflective display foil and designed this stencil.
What you want to do is to print the stencil then use some double sided sticky tape, put it on the stencil and cut off the excessive double sided tape around the outer line with scissors.
Then apply it to the protective foil ( I started in the most outer corner so I had 2 perfectly angled lines to start with) Now again cut along the border of the stencil, when you got it off the main piece you can pay some more attention to the corners , cut them nicely around the stencil and thats it your done, now just peel of the foil and apply it to your K5 s screen.
The anti glare does work really nice in brigh daylight.
