This model marries ntressler's "Milwaukee M18 Battery Holder - Horizontal" to luma's “DDD Printable Wall Control System” for Wall Control's powder-coated, slotted metal pegboards.

The battery holder mates to 2x3 angle bracket flats (in left, right, and/or center versions, as pictured in the render), and can be stacked into an array arbitrarily wide.

The upper side of the battery holder has some empty space in a sloping tray, both to save some plastic and also to serve as a useful small-parts storage surface. Inside the back wall of this tray is a provision for the 16 mm x 2.5 mm threaded retention plug provided by the DDD system for locking the tray against upward motion off its mounting tabs.

Six of the 10x4x4mm locking pins provided in the DDD System are required for the upper interfaces to the angle brackets.

I printed mine in PETG with 0.2mm layers, 4 walls, and 20% infill. Supports are only sparingly needed: use support enforcers to enable them only on the steep overhangs inside the locking tabs for the M18 battery. The rest of the bridging features (10x4 tab slots) and overhangs should print fine without supports.

Thanks to both original creators for making the remix easy!

I will soon be adding this to the Github Repository for DDD Wall Control.

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

vs. DDD system – adds a new tool holder to the collection (for Milwaukee M18 batteries)

vs. Milwaukee M18 Battery Holder – adds DDD Wall Control System compatibility and several small geometry tweaks (chamfers and radii).
