I wanted a bin where the label was easy to read even from the front. So I made these. Apart from the fact that the design of the label lip prevents other units from being stacked on top of the bins, the dimensions of the bins are in compliance with the gridfinity system and compatible with other gridfinity units.
This collection of Gridfinity bins is available in 36 sizes ranging from 1x1 to 4x3 modules and in 3 different hights 5-7 units (35-49 mm). Dimensions in file names are width x depth x height. Width and depth units are 42mm grid slots, height units are 7mm.
Update 2025-01-30: In response to a request, I have added a few boxes that are divided into two compartments.
In the model files, the parts are orientated in the direction best suited for printing. Use e.g. PLA for printing with a layer height of 0.2mm or less and a nozzle width of 0.4mm. A wall, bottom and top thickness of at least 3 lines and an infill of 25%. There is no need for a support structure.
With this Gridfinity sorting tray you can easily sort your small parts into your Gridfinity bins.
And these bins fit very well with this Gridfinity frame for the Skadis board.
The author remixed this model.
The slanting label lip and the fact that it is not stackable are the main differences.
