These rails will support and retain Sortimo T-BOXX G Storage cases in a purpose built cabinet by the recesses molded into the side of the cases. Models include spacers to simplify layout and allow maximum storage density while still being able to use the cases without interference.

These were designed to be printed on a Prusa XL and probably need a large format printer \u2013 a single rail is about 12 \u00bd inches / 316mm long at 5/8 inches / 16mm wide.

Cabinet dimensions are critical for these to work \u2013 there's about 1/8\" or 3mm of leeway in your cabinet width before these rails will fail to support the cases. Do not go smaller than these dimensions. Required dimensions for the INTERIOR are:

Width: 17 7/8 inches / 454mm

Depth (front of cabinet to inside of rear panel: 14 \u00bc inches / 362mm

For each case, allow 3 5/8 inches / 92mm of height, plus about 5/8 inches / 16mm at the top for a little bit of margin.

Add 1 \u00bd inches / 38mm if you include a pull out shelf.

Rails are designed for #6 flat head screws.

The spacer prints ensure correct layout of the rails.

Bottom Spacer.stl is the distance from the bottom of the cabinet side to the bottom of the first rail, before the bottom of the cabinet is in place, and assumes \u00be inch / 19mm plywood. All other spacers work for any plywood thickness.

Setback.stl hooks over the front of the cabinet side and correctly positions the front of the support rail.

Standard Spacer.stl is placed between the top of one rail and the bottom of the next to ensure proper spacing between storage cases.

Shelf Spacer.stl is a spacer which can be used instead of Standard Spacer.stl to add additional space for a pull out shelf. Shelf thickness is 1 \u00bd inches / 38mm to allow for standard full-extension drawer slides. I use this shelf as both a place to set the cases when I'm getting something from them and to reduce flex in the sides of the cabinet, ensuring proper spacing. If you're going to make a tall cabinet (over 10 storage cases) the shelf is a good idea for consistency.

I also recommend checking the rails are square every 2-3 rails as you install them. The plastic will flex a bit as you screw it down. Minor adjustments as you go works a lot better than a big one when it's so out of square you can see it.

I printed these out of regular PLA with 3 perimeters. They fit 16 rails at a time on a Prusa XL.
