This is a remix of: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2763110

I also preferred the rear axe tip section of this model: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3064861

... So I mixed that part into this model (before I sliced it).

I chose this model as the starting point because I did not want to bother with other options that required printing and gluing small sections, and having to worry about supports or using real bolts.

I sliced it down the middle so that it can be printed without supports.

Then I cut it into large sections that would fit a 230x230 print bed, so it could be printed quicker.

Rather than flat cuts across sections, I created overlapping sections, and cut with right angle shapes, to ensure strength (won't break at glued joints) and easy to fit together.

I left the STL files oriented as created by MeshMixer, so if anyone wants to edit, load them all up at the same time and they will line up properly for further edits (as per screenshot).

Print Settings

Each of these pieces fit nicely on a 230x230 print bed.

No need for supports.

Can print fairly fast as it doesn't have much fine detail.

Post-Printing

Make sure to dry fit sections together before gluing, and that features line up - and if needed shave off a bit in the joints to get a good fit (I needed to do that only in one joint).

I glued only one piece at a time, and waited to started drying, before adding next piece, starting at the axe teeth and working my way down.

I just needed pegs to hold the pieces in place while glue was drying. But you could also try using an accelerant (eg on Superglue, a bit of baking soda hardens it straight away!)

Model origin

Differences of the remix compared to the original

Sliced the original model so two halves can print without support. Then chopped them up into sections that fit most FDM printers, in a way that they can be glued together easily (into right shape).
