This is a 4-inch exhaust vent take-off to allow for connection of a 4" hose or pipe for ventilation.

It is the same 4" hose commonly used in bathroom exhaust “fart fans” or dryer ducting.

Specifically, I made this for venting an enclosed server cabinet I'm working on.  It can be attached on the interior or exterior of the box, though I designed it with the interior mount in mind.

The hose attachment is a meant to be forgiving to limit futzing with getting the hose on. It could be an issue if you have a more rigid, metal hose.  Consider using tape to improve the seal if that is the case.

Additionally, this design incorporates three ribs on the interior of the hose attachment for rigidity, especially helpful with screw-driven hose clamps.

The hose attachment is only 50mm long, which I works well for my ¾" material application. It should be good to attach a hose for up to 1-¼" materials.

Print in PLA or PETG - PETG especially if you expect HEATED air to move through it.

Print with the lip on the bed, with 4+ walls, and up the infill & layers.  Basically, if it's solid, it seems fine and still prints relatively quick.

Cut out the port with a standard 4" (102 mm) hole saw.
