Design

I designed a converter for a 2.5" HDD to fit in my PS2 (with the network adapter, and the SATA mod) without it floating around.
The bracket slides into place, where it holds firmly.

Hardware

All you'll need are some small screws to mount the HDD or SSD to the bracket.
These need to be 1mm flat countersunk heads, otherwise they stick out too far and wont fit inside!

Update 7/20/21
I discovered I had accidentally uploaded an older exported version, I fixed some tolerances, and added the "v2" in here. If you did print the first one, you may need to file down the top of the support legs a little bit, that's all.

Update 10/16/21
It was brought to my attention, that the GameStar (clone) adapter has slightly different dimensions vs the original. I have added a variant which fits on this, and added a hole on the side of both for easier access to the front left screw.

Update 8/11/22
Upon request, I've added 2 variants that should cover the whole area of the HDD slot (all the way to the back), so there's no chance at all of sliding around in there anymore - you can find them with the “_Full” postfix in the filenames.

Update 10/18/22
Had some feedback on the GameStar variants, and some suggestions to fix them - which I did! removed old versions, and reuploaded the new ones.
Huge thanks to the feedback and great community <3

Update 6/30/23
Recently there is a “certain” company, which has started cloning this design, so as a thank you, I have added a “Limited Edition” (_LE filename post-fix) for all variants.
