Are you tired of your SV07 and SV07 Plus sounding like that old Eureka vacuum that Grandma had? Would you like to be able to actually sit in the same room as your printer for more than 5 minutes without your ears bleeding or going deaf? Perhaps you're just tired of your significant other making comments like “OMG!!! Do you HAVE to use that thing again? Didn't you use use it yesterday?!?!” If you answered yes to any of these, then this may be the fan upgrade you want/need.
It's no secret that the original curtain fan on the SV07 and SV07 + is not only loud as a Husqvarna chainsaw, but outputs air in every direction except to the top layers of your prints. I intended to solve these issues with this upgraded design combined with the 120mm fan listed below.
With this design and fan combo the curtain fan is not only significantly quieter than both the hot end and PSU fans, but it produces a smooth wide flat stream of air across most of the build surface at very top layers of the part. With just the curtain fan on at 5' the 120mm fan only produces 40db of noise compared to the 65db of the original 70mm fan! (120mm sound test screenshot below) Bridging and steep overhang print issues are a thing of the past especially when you also upgrade the part cooling fan with a 5015 twin duct setup like this one.

This easily prints without supports when rotated onto the front face, but you can add them as shown in the slicer model if you wish. I mainly use Prusa Slicer but for supper easy clean support removal you can use the following settings in Prusa or Orca Slicer.
General print settings: Print time approx 4 hours
Material: PLA or PLA+
.28 layers
3 perimeters
20-30% infill
Support settings:
Style: Snug
TopZ Clearance: .2
Bottom contact Z: 0
Pattern: Rec Grid
Spacing: 3
Angle: 0
Closing Rad: 2
Top interface Layers: 5
Bottom int layer: 0
interface pattern: Rec
Interface pattern spacing: .2
XY separation: 90%
The 120mm fan to get from Amazon:
“Wathai 120x120x25mm 120mm 24v Case Fan PC Cooling DC Brushless Motor Fan High Airflow”

The fan kit come with the grill screws and nuts. The screws will self tap in the print but just be sure not to over-tighten them. Instead use the included nuts as spacers got the grill if you decide to use it.
You also will want to get some heat-shrink tubing for the wiring to splice stock connector to the 120mm fan. Just be sure to test the polarity on the wiring before you activate the heat shrink. I had one fan wired in reverse…
Use the original bolts to mount this one up and be sure to run input shaping calibration again once everything is bolted up.
