I was still pressing (melting) the insert nuts freehand. After some time I was thinking of a press stand for my insert nuts. I have a hardly used Dremel drill stand gaining dust in a corner of the workbench and I thought why not use that.

So I made 2 types of adapters. Both exsist of two parts, the soldering iron holder and the lock nut.

Adapter #1 is screwed in the Dremel drill holder using the original fix nut (no changes made to the drill stand) and the soldering iron is locked with an open nut. (not for heavy pressure)

Adapter #2 replaced the Dremel drill spindel holder (need to modify the drill stand) the iron is locked with the open nut. (much stronger)

The adapters are made for soldering irons with a diameter of 22mm on the widest ring and with a shaft diameter of 18mm.

Print settings:

0.2mm layer quality

Infill 50% or more for adapter #1 (due to tension on lower threat)

support on bed for adapter #2 (only big hole)
