Built for “The Shikra” made by XIPITER (INT3.CC) https://int3.cc/products/the-shikra
The Shikra is meant to be a more reliable replacement for the shortcomings of other tools like the BusPirate.
This model was made because the case model provided by XIPTER is a bit too loose on the device, the original model (found here) if given enough of a push can snap surface mount components off the PCB.
This design is also a bit more compact on the sides and also provides protection to the pin headers (preventing it from catching on items such as bags) and also being easily shorted out on conductive materials, It also provides some support to jumper cables that may be connected via the raised edges, and finally a small passthrough for the onboard LED.
The case is designed to use a friction fit to allow it to hold together but it is recommended to use a small amount to glue/superglue to adhere the two parts together and prevent them form separating should the device get dropped.
Printing with supports is also recommended but depending on your printers bridging capabilities it may not be needed for the bulk apart from the opening on the top half of the case.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
