We have recycle bins and one ‘dirty waste’ bin. Dirty waste can be grouped in dry dirty  and wet dirty waste. Wet waste is typically smaller volume and is removed more frequently. This calls for a smaller bag shopping within the larger bin. Credit for this idea must go to my life partner: “There is something you can print for me…”

The shopping bag hangs by its carrying loops. Each loop is held by two hooks to keep the bag open. The hooks are separated by short bars to keep the two hooks collapsing together.

Four different bar lengths are provided but you can print your own required length, just keep the cross section 3mm by 9 mm to fit the holes in the hooks.

The bars fit into small holes in the hooks: two hole sizes are provided - at tight fit with smaller tolerance and a looser fit with slightly larger holes: 3.1 by 9.1 and 3.2 by 9.2 mm. Select one according to the accuracy of your printer.

Print two times each of the left and right hooks and four bars. Assemble with glue.

No supports required, print with infill according to the weight you want to carry.
