Here is the link to the Onshape file where you can easily configure the fan parameters and export an STL to print. You can also make a copy of the 3D Geometry to customize the design further to meet your specific needs.

This design was originally modeled for use in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) to air-cool the NEO Vortex and NEO 550 motors. Almost every cordless power tool features a fan for forced airflow, so why not seek the same benefits with off-the-shelf components?

The pictures show the design printed in flexible TPU. The flexible filament doubles as a rubber isolator to protect the motor from impacts on the field and while assembling.

The forced airflow over the motors prevents the below issues related to overheating the brushless motors:

Demagnetization of the rotor's permanent magnets
Melting of the stator winding's wire insulation
Reduced magnetic flux
Torque derates
Overall lower efficiency
