Labels for the Playstation Access controller, including blanks and all standard symbols, designed to fit either the original or alternative buttons.

Labels should be printed face-down. As the labels are very small, the exact size may vary between printers, so it may be necessary to scale the buttons slightly to fit correctly (see "Sizing Guide" below). Do not fit a label to the center button of the Access until the fit has been fully tested using one of the official outer button caps - if it is too tight, removing it may break the pin and jam the button.

  • Flexible materials (e.g. TPU) - use the standard variants; these have the best fit, with a retention ridge similar to the original labels.
  • Hard materials (e.g. PLA) - use the "NoRidge" variants; these have a less secure fit, but the pin is less likely to break during removal.

Higher contrast for the symbols can be achieved by printing using two colours, changing colour at 0.6mm (layer 3 if using 0.2mm layers). With a single-filament printer, use the "Change filament" or "Pause at height" feature in the slicer and manually change filament mid-print. Alternatively, print using a single colour and use paint to fill in the symbols, or print each button in a different colour (e.g. green for triangle, blue for cross).

The blank labels can have stickers attached or be painted with custom text/images.

Sizing Guide: If the labels are too tight or loose, perform a sizing test by loading multiple labels with different symbols into your slicer and scaling each in 1% increments in both X and Y axes (not Z), noting the scale used for each symbol. Print and test which fits best. Once the best scale has been found, throw away the test samples to avoid mixing them accidentally, then create a new slicer project, load a full set of labels, scale, and print.
