Inspiration came from a few nanoleaf projects with my kids that had (24) individual LED strips that needed to be linked with 3-wire LED wiring. This made quick, clean and consistent work of stripping the ends for clean soldering.

Tool build and use: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jlfNCeWXg8

The depth is designed such that you only strip enough to solder to the LED strip contacts and don't have slack wire exposed that could short if the jumpers get twisted or the like.

Fan out your wire slightly after removing the jacket by separating the wires back about 1cm so they line up better with the LED strip contacts.

Tin both your contact and your exposed wire before soldering together.

You'll need a square razor (https://www.amazon.com/OEMTOOLS-25181-Razor-Blades-Pack/dp/B000CMFJZ2/) and two 10mm M3 screws.

The razor is snug but goes into the slot completely just past the bolt holes. The bolts keep it in place. The razor sticks up just enough to score the jacket. Score both sides then flex to remove.
