Pop Fidget Chain

An expandable and perpetually poppable fidget toy with a simple TPU mechanism.

Button Options

• Default: round on top flat on bottom
• Round (print on side)
• Flat

Optional Clasp

Add a clasp to connect/disconnect your chain into a loop.

• Print the bottom half of the clasp in rigid filament (PLA/PETG/ABS)
• Print the top half of the clasp in flexible TPU.
• Attach the bottom half of the clasp to your chain using the thinner clasp pin.

Printing

• Print the link cases in TPU - 92A or softer is recommended.
• Increase perimeter count in the cases to 4-5 perimeters to provide a solid click
• Print remaining parts in a rigid filament (PLA/PETG/ABS)
• Add brims if bed adhesion is an issue - especially on the small pins

Assembly

• Press-fit buttons into the link case
• Connect link cases together with a pin - pins are intentionally larger than the TPU holes they go into. It's expected that the TPU links will need to stretch a bit.
