I also improved the overall rigidity by adding a PLA slide.

TPU spring printing: I'm providing a “color change” in the print file;  start with PLA (less than 1 mn) then put TPU. This way it's less messy (no paper glue that needs to bee cleaned afterwards) and you don't need to protect the buildplate.

The retrofit is done by adding 2 small spacers instead of having 2 separate designs.

In order to build a Mc Pherson strut suspension I needed a new shock absorber !

This is a retrofit part that is compatible with my Unimog RC design and my RC car V2 design.

It uses a TPU spring that is enclosed in a PLA tube. The creep is quite natural.

The final part for the new suspension will most certainly need some additional work.
