Description:
Use the excellent Parametric Umbilical Gland (PUG), instead of a PG7 or similar, to secure your Voron umbilical through the exhaust grill. It also provides a location for the reverse bowden tube. You can use the Parametric Umbilical Clip (PUC) to hold the umbilical and tube together.
Parts:
Print Settings:
ABS/ASA/PETG, 0.4 mm nozzle, 3 wall lines, no support, 0.2 mm layers.
Assembly Notes:
Heat set inserts are pressed in from the back.
The PUG Clamps can attach a PUG to just about anything flat with room for two M3 screws 24 mm apart. It holds PUG in place by going around the outside of the linking features, and for extra security those features are slightly off-center so it clamps when tightened.
It's easiest to put one screw most of the way in on one side of the PUG Clamps as seen below, pass the cable through, then add the PUG.
Once everything is in position, add the other screw (you may need to squeeze together a bit). Screwing them both tight will clamp the PUG in place.
Updates:
The author remixed this model.
Created symmetric PUG clamps based on the PUG model
Added mounting position for those clamps (plus a reverse bowden tubing hole) to the Voron Exhaust Filter Grill
