PDF

A mounting rail that attaches to the front of the XLs top extrusions. The included mount is meant for a tapo C225, but the rail can be adapted for any kind of equipment.

The traverse can be split in two parts with dovetail connector in Prusa slicer. I made the cut a bit off-center to be able to use the middle mounting holes.

The mount is attached with two M4 heat inserts and corresponding M4 screws.

For attaching the traverse to the printer, use M8x45 screws with washers on the outside. Bend the traverse gently to get it to snap into the extrusion grooves.

The picture shows an earlier version with mounting groove on the wrong side because i am an idiot and have to reprint at some point, but since it works anyway I'm in no hurry.

Video stream and PTZ-controls can be accessed via Homeassistant (https://github.com/JurajNyiri/HomeAssistant-Tapo-Control). Streaming to prusaconnect via https://hub.docker.com/r/jtee3d/prusa_connect_rtsp

Internet access for the camera can be cut off once the initial setup is done.
