Bird feeder for fat/suet blocks. Maximum dimensions of block 116x38x100mm, this should feed the majority of commercial fat blocks.
The photos are of the feeder printed in PLA, after 1 year outside the roof has warped slightly although the feeder still works well, so I would recommend PETG due to it's UV resistance.
There is no damage to the feeder after 1 year in constant use, visited by Starlings, Magpies, Jackdaws and a variety of songbirds.
A push pin is included but I would recommend M3 x 5 heat set inserts and M3 x 16 brass thumbscrews like these https://www.amazon.co.uk/sourcing-map-M3x16mm-Shoulder-Fasteners/dp/B0CQW6JV3N/ref=sr_1_2?crid=2F70HS12PJX15&keywords=brass%2Bthumbscrew%2Bm3%2B16mm&qid=1707478818&sprefix=brass%2Bthumbscrew%2Bm3%2B16mm%2Caps%2C65&sr=8-2&th=1 although you can use other materials or screws. Thumbscrews are just easier to remove.
Hoop on roof for attaching to bird feeder poles or hanging on anything. I use a swivel on feeders like this, either a fishing swivel or the clip swivels as shown in the photo, and split rings for hanging on a hook. But use whatever works for you.
