I needed to vent a new laser engraver and wanted to set something up that could slide into my basement window and have a vent for casual use to open or close if the weather was being nasty. I added ΒΌ" weather stripping around all edges.

The remaining parts for the valve etc I didn't modify although if I was printing another I might beef them up a bit as the shaft feels a little wimpy.

I used the cut tool in Prusaslicer to make it fit with dowels with glue and a strip of duct tape to stop any leaks.

I also made a coupler from the vent body, I wanted that ridge on it so the zip ties would be on there and they couldn't come apart.

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

I added the duct housing of the model to a rectangular panel to fit in the grove of a basement window in my house.
