Yet another insert/tray for Caverna. It's remixed from these bits mostly:

I made some small modifications to the resource trays and some other components, but most of them are the same as the original creators.

Additionally, I may have made some containers and separators myself, I can't remember. Please message me if I forgot to credit someone.

This insert has space for almost everything for the game and the expansion, and promos, but not quite. I keep the other races as well as the other promo tile sets in big baggies in the expansion box. Everything else fits here, including extra wooden resources.

As I play with 2 players frequently, I've remixed the resource tray to be one per player to keep close to them. This way they are also thinner, and you don't need a centralized space to fit a big resource tray, and you can instead keep it to the side.

Printing instructions

Remember to print with 0 bottom layers, and with some pattern infill to get a nice and filament-saving print. The lids for the resource trays are a bit weak structurally, so lift them carefully.

Print 1 or 2x "Resources Box" and 1 or 2x "Resources Lid". Each set contains half of the following resources: Cattle, Donkeys, Sheep, Wild Boars, Dogs, Food, Ore, Gems, Stone, Wood, Grain, Vegetables, Mushrooms, Gemstone Fruits and a 8x multiplier token.

IMPORTANT: Start with this one to make sure you can fit the print on your printer. This box maximizes the space on the Prusa printer. You have to disable the Skirt in Print Settings > Skirt and Brim > Loops = 0.

Print 2x "Card Box With Lid". One is used for the cards, the other is empty and used as a spacer. You could also scale the box 200% in height and just print 1x.

Print 7x "Player Pieces With Lid". This contains the player discs and stables.

Print 1x "Point Tokens With Lid". This contains the player discs and stables. In here I also store the first player marker, extra dwarf and the harvest tokens.

Print 3x "Weapons Box With Lid". Place all weapons in there, sorted by weapon level.

Print 3x "Tiles Rectangle Box". These are used to store all rectangular twin tiles like caves, mines, meadows and fields.

Print 1x "Tiles Square Box". This is used to store all single square tiles that aren't rooms.

Print 1x "Tiles Buildings Box". This is used to store all buildings (except a couple of dwellings that doesn't fit, you can store them elsewhere. You rarely need all). It also contains the begging tokens and resource multipliers in the small section in one of the corners.

Print 5x "TilesLid". These are used as lids to the 5 tile boxes.

Storing in the box

In the bottom of the box, place all boards and the rules.

Along one of the short edges, place the 7 player piece boxes.

Starting from the other short edge, place the 5 tile trays. 3 horizontal to the left, and 2 vertical to the right.

Place the 2 big resource trays on top of the tile trays. Keep them to the left or right side of the box.

On the left side of the tile trays, there's space for the 3 Weapons Boxes. Place them vertically, lying on their long edge sides. They will all fit and should be flush with the lid at this point.

There should be a gap between the resource boxes and the player boxes. Place the Point Token box on one side, and the Card Box(es) on the other side. Both stored vertically on the long edge.

On top of it all I place the 2 smaller boards for different player count, as well as the score pad. You may also store them in the expansion box if you have it. This is where I store the expansion races and the promo tiles as well.
