Whole model was printed on ender 3 v2 neo with impact PLA material which strength is close to ABS and PETG. I am not sure if regular PLA is strong enough for this assembly.

My printer settings:

  • 0.6mm nozzle
  • 0.28mm layer height
  • 3 top, 3 bottom layers,  2 perimeters
  • 20% infill
  • 40mm/s speed

With these settings I managed to print all parts in 28 hours and spent about  580g of  filament.

Parts needed for build:

  • 4x 6.5mm 6-32-M3 Computer Golden Motherboard Riser
  • 4x M3x5mm screws for motherboard
  • 4x 6-32 screws for power supply
  • 35x M3x6mm screws to attach parts (8x Optional for sata 2.5 drive)
  • 9x M3x3mm brass thread insert nuts (4x Optional for sata 2.5 drive)
  • 22x M3x4mm brass thread insert nuts
  • 1x 16mm Powerbutton
  • Mesh filter (Optional)
  • Flat rubber feet (Optional)

Assembly steps:

First of all I installed all heat inserts (I left small 0.5mm groove for easier installation):

  • 4x M3x3 for sata ssd bracket
  • 5x M3x3 for motherboard bracket
  • 2x M3x4 for power supply holder
  • 10x M3x4 for front case
  • 10x M3x4 for back case

Installed 4x 6.5mm 6-32-M3 Computer Golden Motherboard Risers with screw driver and installed power button to front case.

Then I went with this assembly sequence:

  1. Attached sata ssd with ssd bracket and installed to motherboard bracket
  2. Installed power supply to back case panel
  3. Attached back case panel to motherboard bracket
  4. Attached 2x psu holders to motherboard bracket to secure power supply in place
  5. Attached front case panel to motherboard bracket
  6. Installed motherboard with all computer components
  7. Connected all cables
  8. Glued mesh filter to top, bottom and side case panels
  9. Attached top and bottom case panels
  10. Attached case side panels
  11. Glued flat rubber feet to bottom panel standoffs.

I needed small APU computer for basic usage. Because I had little space on my desk and since Itx cases a quite pricy I decided to print and build one with spare pc parts that I had.

Pc specs:

  • Motherboard asus prime a320I-K
  • Cpu ryzen 3400g
  • Ram hyperx fury 8gb
  • Cpu cooler Jonsbo HP-400S
  • Psu FSP sfx pro 450w
  • Ssd sata corsair force le 120gb

Max stress tested CPU temperature without case: 71c, In case with mesh filters: 76c

looking forward to your questions and thoughts.
