Makita Vacuum Head Reinforcement (2mm version)

I printed the original Makita Vacuum Head Reinforcement by @Razzer09 but it cracked along the bottom after my toddler knocked the vacuum off of a table (further emphasizing the need for this part). 

This redesign features a uniform 2mm thickness to provide extra support to the bottom portion of the print. The original has a thickness of 1-1.25mm along the bottom which is where mine cracked. It was designed for the Makita XLC02 series but may also fit the DLC180 series (not 100% certain; leave a comment if it works!).

Fitment also conforms more closely to the original nozzle shape of the XLC02.

  • Printed with PETG (PLA should be fine too).

  • Support on build plate only.
• Infill
  • ANY (not thick enough for custom infill)

While the original had thickness varying from 1mm - 4mm (depending on location), this is a complete redesign that features a 2mm thickness all the way around. The dimensions have also been altered to provide slightly cleaner fitment.
