I have printed quite a variety of phone stands in the past but they are either thin & flimsy, very bulky, non adjustable or wide.
So I designed this model, it's not as thin as credit card stands but very sturdy while still being portable.
- Use a 0.2mm layer height for the clearances and in-built support to work.
- Also, be careful when rotating the middle section (with the hole) for first time, it may be a little stuck and may require a little effort to get free for the first time.
- Hinges may not rotate smoothly at first, but with use it will get smooth.
- I have printed mine in PLA and the hinges are holding up (some stands are almost 2 year old), so if hinges break there might be poor layer adhesion due to print settings or wet filament.
- There is a storage stand for 3 and 5 quantities of mobile holder.
I have included STEP and Fusion files if there is an issue with clearance or something else.
Just a heads up though, I modeled it quite some time ago when I was new to designing, so the fusion file is probably a mess.
