After getting some batteries from disposable vapes, I was looking for a first project to do with them. This is what I came up with.

This 'small' box allows wired headphones to receive audio via Bluetooth. You can attach it to your clothes with a clip so you don't have to carry a smartphone on your body when you're working out or deal with a tangled cable when walking down the street.

The back cover is available in a version with a clip and a version without a clip.

As my printer is not well calibrated and the dimensions are quite tight, you may have to make some adjustments yourself. In particular, I had to drill out the screw holes and rework the openings for the switches and connections with a file. :x

I have also uploaded the corresponding project files for FreeCAD, but I doubt anyone will be able to see through the chaos \u2026 :D. Anyway, maybe someone will be able to do something with it.

I only have dangerous half-knowledge, so it's best to do your own research on how to handle these batteries and components before rebuilding.

The following components are required (see photos at the bottom):

5.0 Bluetooth audio receiver module
Boost converter \u201cMT3608\u201d
Charge controller \u201cTP4056\u201d for lithium cells
Switch
Battery from a disposable e-cigarette (Elf Bar 600)
1 piece M3x8mm Socket Head
4 piece M2x16mm Socket Head

Important !

As the charge current from the charge controller is too high for the cell, it must be adjusted by changing a certain resistance.
I wanted to be on the safe side and followed the recommendation of 37% - 40% of cell capacity. So 10KOhm (130mAh) with a cell capacity of 360mAh.

Before connecting the battery to the charge controller, it should be connected to a power supply to activate the protection circuit.

A cell with less than 2.5V should not be used, better over 3V.

Although the manufacturers state that you can charge and discharge at the same time, I strongly advise against this (see here). I have therefore designed the switch cover so that it blocks the charging socket when the unit is switched on.

Nachdem ich einige Akkus aus Einweg Vapes gewonnen hatte, war ich auf der Suche einem ersten Projekt was ich damit umsetzen k\u00f6nnte. Dies ist es geworden.

Diese \u201ekleine\u201c Kiste erm\u00f6glicht es Kopfh\u00f6rer mit Kabel via Bluetooth mit Audiosignalen zu versorgen. Ein Clip erlaubt die Befestigung an Kleidung und erspart einem so die Notwendigkeit ein Smartphone am K\u00f6rper tragen zu m\u00fcssen oder umst\u00e4ndlichen Kabelsalat beim gehen.

Die R\u00fcckseite ist in einer Version mit Clip und in einer Version ohne Clip vorhanden.

Da mein Drucker nicht gut kalibriert und die Ma\u00dfe recht knapp bemessen sind, sind eventuell Anpassungen selber zu machen. Vor allem die Schraubenl\u00f6cher musste ich nachtr\u00e4glich aufbohren und die \u00d6ffnungen f\u00fcr Schalter, sowie Anschl\u00fcsse mit einer Feile nachbearbeiten. :x

Ich habe die entsprechenden Projektdateien f\u00fcr FreeCAD mit hochgeladen, bezweifel jedoch das jemand durch das Chaos durch blickt \u2026 :D Wie dem auch sei, vielleicht kann jemand damit was anfangen.

Ich besitze nur gef\u00e4hrliches Halbwissen daher sollte man vor dem nachbauen am besten selber etwas zum Umgang mit den Akkus und Komponenten recherschieren.

Wichtig !

Da der Ladestrom des Ladekontrollers f\u00fcr die Zelle zu hoch ist, muss er \u00fcber die \u00c4nderung eines bestimmten Widerstandes angepasst werden.
Ich wollte auf Nummer sicher gehen und habe mich an die Empfehlung von 37% - 40% der Zellen Kapazit\u00e4t orientiert. Also 10KOhm (130mAh) bei 360mAh Zellenkapazit\u00e4t.

Vor Anschluss des Akkus an den Ladekontroller sollte dieser einmal an ein Netzteil angeschlossen werden, um die Schutzschaltung zu aktivieren.

Obwohl die Hersteller angeben man k\u00f6nne mit dem Ladekontroller laden und gleichzeitig entladen, rate ich davon eindeutig ab (siehe hier). Deshalb habe ich die Schalter Abdeckung so entworfen, das diese bei einem angeschalteten Ger\u00e4t die Ladebuchse blockiert.
