IKEA SOMRIG/RODRET remote button holder for SKÅDIS

The IKEA SOMRIG is a cheap ZigBee remote with 2 buttons. I wanted to have one to easily control stuff in my office but I needed a place to hang it. Since I have a SKÅDIS next to my desk I decided to design and print this holder.

The holder is designed to accomodate the remote with or without cover. And the remote can still be used while in the holder. The IKEA RODRET is the same size but is a dimmer remote that comes without the icons and cover. It should technically fit in this holder, but it's untested.

Print settings

Print standing up. The peg at the back requires supports. Supports are also recommended to have the round shape print nicely.

For bed slingers like the A1 (mini), Ender 3 etc. I recommend using the “grid” supports, Core XY machines can get away with “snug” supports.
