Printable stave drum angle cutting jig. Parametric model for different drum sizes, miter channels, tool distances etc. This angle cutting jig was especially designed for stave drums in conjunction with a router table, but it can of course be used for cutting angles for completely different things and in conjunction with a tablesaw. It's printable completely without supports.
If you need to calculate the desired angle for your drum size, I recommend googling the term “stave calculator”. If you want to learn about the stave drum building process search for "Wie man ein Schlagzeug baut | SWR Handwerkskunst" at YouTube. This angle cutting jig is preconfigured for 9 degrees (14" snare with 20 staves for 10 lugs).
If you own the Original Prusa MK3S, you'll find the pre-sliced version of this model in the files area.
If you own Autodesk Fusion 360, you'll also find a parametric version of this model in the files.
I used the following print settings: 0.30 mm DRAFT / 15% Infill / Prusament PETG Galaxy Black.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
