Lithophane Ceiling Lamp Shade- Woodlands

The frame and frame design is my own design, the lithophanes were made using Lithophane Maker, so you can either use the lithophanes I made or make your own for free.  If you make your own please ensure the diameter of your Lithophanes is between 193mm and 194mm for a good fit into the frame. 

The frame consists of three peices that just clip together with the lithophanes inserted and held in place by each of the three frame sections.

I printed everything using Overture PLA on a Prusa MK4 @ 190 degrees.  The bottom flat lithophane should be printed side on not flat on the print bed for the best results.  Use supports on the frame for the overhang of the clips .

To assemble the frame:

1. start with the lower frame part and lay the flat lithophane into it
2. push the middle frame section onto the lower frame section
3. slide the circular lithophane tube into the middle frame section
4. finally clip the top frame section on.

Note: Whilst it is not impossible to mount the lampshae once fully together I suggest fitting the top section to the light fitting and installing the lightbulb before final assembly, and likewise to change the bulb the top section can be unclipped from the rest of the lampshade for ease.
