X Max 3 Automatic Multi Material Riser

this is for the qidi x max 3.

its a riser in 4 pieces meant to house a splitter a pc4 m10 coupler and up to 8 titan extruders acting as feeder extruders to be synced with your DD extruder.

you will need either a board upgrade with more stepper drivers or an expansion board. im using a BTT Octopus v1.1

i use the Jazz3D Spit Fire print head with the filament cutter to make color/material changes seemless. which uses the orbiter v2 and a rapido uhf.

recommend printing in petg or abs very minimal support roughly 1.5kg in filament depending on your print settings.

you will need pc4 6mm couplings and drill the brass out with 4mm drill bit for smooth transition to the splitter and the pc4 10mm once Bowden is pushed thru you need to flare the ptfe I used a drill with a #2 Phillips and flared it
