Years back, I cut a hole in the bathroom wall to mount a USB-powered, talking clock / weatherman next to the toilet.

After years of service, I decided to stop sharing my toilet noises with Bezo-Breeze and keep that all to myself… and MAYBE Tim Apple.

Anyway, the massive hole has not gone away, and I wanted to make a Homepod Mini mount to fit it.

As part of that process, I decided to remake the inspiring and no-longer-available in-wall-mount: Mount Genie Flush Mount 2nd Gen (off Amazon).

This will still fit the cutout for the Mount Genie, though I do not feel the Echo Dot (Gen 2) is AS SECURE and would recommend putting some blue-tack on 2 or more of the inner rails.

Apologies, but this needs to print with supports (for the exterior notches), but there are only 3 and they come off easy.

Print with the flat lip face-down

Use a 3 5/8 inch or a 92mm hole saw to cut.  The notches are for “½ inch” drywall… in theory.
