Traceur

Picture a Worker Nightingale.

Now give it a bigger battery.

Now make it take Talons, Kodas, and Tachis.

Now make it hit anywhere from 80 to 180fps.

That's Traceur.

One screw to get into the blaster.

Four to change out the flywheel cage.

One blaster, several cages, any event.

Flywheel combos I've run so far:

Mieshel 2.0 motors on 2s + FTW wheels: 80-85 fps

Fang Revamped motors on 3s + Spartan wheels: 145-160fps

Banned Blasters 42k motors on 3s + Traceur wheels: 120-130fps

Fang Revamped motors on 3s + Traceur wheels: 160-170fps

Banned Blasters 74k motors on 3s + Traceur wheels: 170-180fps

Banned Blasters 74k motors on 3s + Spartan wheels: 170-180fps

Also compatible with Banned Blasters' 22mm-spacing Jr wheels (not the Nightingale ones)

A Print and Build Guide, as well as a Bill of Materials (BOM) have been provided in the Files. You'll need to cut down the trigger spring a little bit. Unfortunately the only Amazon listing that wasn't for 100+ springs has ones that are a bit longer than we need. They come 40mm long, anywhere in the 25-30mm range should work just fine for this.

Remixes are absolutely encouraged! Don't feel obligated to ask me first, just make cool stuff! I've included a STEP file of every part of the blaster to help. The only caveat is that this project is being released under CC-BY-NC-SA, which means that neither Traceur itself, nor any derivatives or remixes, may be sold commercially by anyone I don't have a separate agreement with. With that said, I'm an easy guy to get along with, so if you want to make and sell Traceurs or kits or remixed stuff, just hit me up!

These were the wheels I've primarily used for the last couple of months of testing while waiting for Traceur wheels to come online and they've been fantastic. Manufactured by Roboman just like Traceur wheels, they're immaculately balanced and capable of similar performance in a slightly smaller OD.
