Chess originated in India around the 8th century. Ever since, It has.... You know what? Enough of that. Chess is great and all, but we have been playing the same old game since the 8th century! It is in desperate need of something to keep children engaged in the age of the PS5. 3D chess is excellent, but my brain cell can't comprehend more than 2 spatial dimensions, so that won't work. I live in America, and everyone knows that bigger is always better in America. This holds true for houses, hamburgers, flags, your own body, and everything else that probably shouldn't be any bigger than it already is. Why can't chess be the same? Feast your eyes on the 16x16 chess board. Can't stop making mistakes and losing your queen as a result? Fear not! you have 3 of them. You have 4 bishops, knights, and rooks, as well as 16 pawns. The board prints in 4 sections because most desktop 3D printers can't print a 320x320 mm square. Print 2 of each board segment. Also, half of the squares are raised on the board. Stop the print at the last layer (for .2 mm layer height) and switch the filament for a colored checkerboard. Print 2 of each board section, and make sure it is indeed a checkerboard when you piece it together. 0.2 mm layer heights should work, but consider using something finer if you would like higher quality. Please reference the photo of how to set up the board as well as castling rules because they both had to be altered. Otherwise, the rules are unchanged. Enjoy. Please leave a comment if you have a question about the game. Thank you!
