After I saw the Prusa Mini Base I thought to my self it might be nice to add something similar to my Mega Zero 2.0 since I had a lot of unused space in top of the cabinet the printer sits in.
The assembled base allows you to store one spring steel sheet and at least one spool of filament. If you route some PTFE tube down there you should even be able to print directly from down there.
Even though I made this model completely from scratch, I'm marking this as a remix of the Prusa Mini Base since I used it heavily as inspiration and template.
At first I didn't think about uploading this somewhere but I'm probably not the only one that would enjoy an addition to his Mega Zero.
Printing
None of the models should need supports or a brim (except maybe the shelf if you need to print it on the rafter side), I printed mine at 0.2mm layer height to safe print time since I don't care about looks overall.
Note: the hollow fillers need to be mirrored to fit the right / controller leg and vise versa the non hollow ones if you want to use them with the left leg.
It also might be necessary to scale the filler pieces down to roughly 99% ~ if you have problems fitting them as they are.
The Mega Zero 2.0 I used for printing the legs needed some persuasion with a rubber mallet at 100%, so I recommend printing one small filler piece for testing.
Assembly
For assembling the base you will need at least two 16mm m4 screws to attach the shelf and if you don't wanna just slide the legs on and tighten them down for safety you will need 8 t-nuts and 8 10mm m4 screws.
In any case putting the legs on is fairly easy, just remove the caps on the front of the printer and the rubber feet in each corner.
Then slide a left and right leg on each of the aluminum extrusions. If you wanna tighten them down make sure to add t-nuts first on the cross beams. After that just put the black caps back on and use some double sided tap to add the rubber feet to the legs if you have the printer on a surface that easily gets scratched.
