For my modular desk project, I wanted a cable management tool that let me attach anything, and swap things out often. Cable trays, ties, and hooks just weren't cutting it.

When searching for a modular solution, I came across DIN Rails, a german standard for assembling electrical boxes. It's used around the world, and cheap to purchase online!

After lining the back of my desk with DIN rail, I can be sure it will be able to adapt to whatever I throw at it in the future.

-----

I designed SnapDIN to bridge the gap between DIN Rail, and anything you want to attach. It uses flexure arms to securely fasten itself to the rail with no wobble. And you just need a key or flathead screwdriver to pop it off the rail.

I've included a few useful cable-management essentials here, a cable ratchet remixed from @fns720, and a zip-tie platform for attaching power bricks. I've already seen my friends make some great additions, and I'm looking forward to seeing how you use it! Post your modifications as a remix or make!

The best part is, you can download my model and modify it to fit whatever you want to attach to DIN Rail! I've included the original F3D file to edit in Fusion 360.

If you use SnapDIN, I'd love to see it! Post a make, and hit that like button!
