Description

PDF

There are several versions of the vase, the original full sized version of the model which is 228.6mm tall, yes this is a weirds number and honestly I don't remember why I decided on this specific number and I don't currently feel like changing it.

Then there is the short version that is 160mm (ah yes a much more reasonable number) this is a cut version of the original.

Lastly, there are two that are labeled with the “_Solid” Tag then those are solid parts for use with vase mode. as I like my vases a bit thicker than a single line of filament.

I feel that this model is steady enough for normal day to day use when placed on a solid surface, however feel free to add a ballast like sand or rice to the bottom to stabilize it a bit more if necessary. The ballast can also be used to adjust the heights of the flowers if you desire.

Additionally, here is a link to the Onshape Document incase you want to change it to fit your preferences. https://cad.onshape.com/documents/bc68f8517bef3d362654d686/w/c9471dabc4f26f0adc2f998f/e/9fd09d97c0f5b9f304b90fac?renderMode=0&uiState=659e1c7bede39170a518508a

Recommended settings:

I would recommend increasing the wall count until the walls of the vase are solid, this will make things a bit faster.

Infill, doesn't matter too much pick one you like.

Tops bottoms I set mine to concentric and increased one until there was no infill, it took a bit longer but made me feel good.

Material, probably whatever you would like, I used ABS.

Layer height, I would do .2mm or larger.
