Cryo gridbox for bare TEM grids

Cryo gridbox with custom screw and a pin-type lid.

Fits 4 bare TEM grids, positions are marked with dots.

Suitable for SLA printing.

Gridboxes can be printed in upright position directly on the platform with no pad or supports.

Lids are best printed with pin poining towards the platform with supports and “pad around”, but need to be shrunk to 98% in X and Y directions.

32-36 pieces can fit in one Prusa SL1 batch.

Most resins I tested do not tolerate rapid cooling in LN2. Slow cooling is, however, quite safe and once frozen, the boxes do not crack (unles they are rapidly heated up again).
