To resize the model for your callipers open the FreeCAD document, go to the spreadsheet and update the values to the next nearest .5 of a mm (you can add some extra clearance if you want at this point). Then you can export the model of the correct size.
You can also change values such as the wall thickness (default is 5mm) and the size of the screws you want to use (default is 3.5mm).
The size I have uploaded is for the Mitutoyo 6 inch callipers that has a box depth of (roughly) 116mm and a box height of 36mm.
To export, click on the part in the timeline on the left, then go to ‘Mesh’ in the dropdown at the top, then ‘create mesh from shape’. Then click on the meshed shape in the timeline and File>export
Then to get the right side just dupe and flip it in your slicer.
Just print it in the same orientation that its imported as, no supports should be needed.
The author remixed this model.
Remade the model in FreeCAD
Added fillets and chamfers
Made the model parametric so it can be more easily adapted to other boxes
