This is a case for the Georgi (rev3) stenographic keyboard. The case is available in two variations. An ergonomic version with adjustable tenting and a flat protective version without tenting attachments. The keyboard clips in securely in the case and is designed to accommodate the Georgi without removing the stock rubber dome feet.

Adjustable Tenting Version

The version with adjustable tenting allows for a more ergonomic typing position by reducing wrist pronation to a customizable degree. The 5 cm long stands allow for angling the keyboard up to 20 degrees. The angle is locked in by tightening the nuts to the underside of the case. The 3D-printer optimized thread profile (M8x3.5, O.4) make the screws and nuts easy to print on most 3D printers. I strongly recommend adding some hot glue, or other non-slip material, to the bottom of the screws and the short edge of case making contact with the table to prevent it from moving around while typing.

The screws can be printed standing up vertically on the flat edge, but require a raft to be used. The case requires some supports for the three lips securing the keyboard. Any possible cosmetic impact from removing them after printing is blocked from view by the keyboard itself.

You will need to print the following parts:

  • Adjustable Tenting, Left Side
  • Adjustable Tenting, Right Side
  • Screw x4
  • Nut x4

Flat Version

The flat version is available for people not interested in tenting the keyboard but looking to protect the exposed SMD components on the underside of the Georgi keyboard. The design of the case is exactly the same, minus attachments for the stands.

You will need to print the following parts:

  • No Tenting, Left Side
  • No Tenting, Right Side
