I wanted to have a bit more space to mount electronics in my Xray XB8E 2022 buggy.
I designed this battery tray which can be mounted with longer M4 bolts.
The battery of “shorty”-size is held tight in place in a centre position, so not to the rear or to the front, so you loose the posibillity to switch the battery-position (which needs a partial rebuild of the original battery-trays anyway.)
My first prototype was printed in PETG … and did not hold very long.
I printed a second edition out of PA with CarbonFibers …
The CF made the print easier as it prevented warping which is typical for PA (nylon).
So, use the correct filament, make it a strong print: more walls, finer infill, … !
That second prototype has now hold 1,5 year of competition and training abuse, without any issues.
The clips have to be provided of al M4-tread-insert (see CNC-kitchen https://cnckitchen.store/collections/threaded-inserts )

TIP: the original battery-tray(s) have two spacers on the bottom.
For printing-facility I made these spacers as a seperate object.
So you will need:
ALSO:
final tip: do use an extra velcro-band to secure the battery tightly.
